[ About the Designer ]

Who is Anuj Ghimire?

I’m a brand and web designer based in Nepal. I work with founders and small businesses to build visual identities and websites that hold up over time. I’ve spent years in brand strategy, identity design, packaging, and web design. Every project starts with understanding the business before I draw anything.

What kind of designer are you?

I’m a Brand & Web Designer. I’m also an SEO Expert. I work across identity systems, packaging, and websites. I don’t do production work. My focus is on systems that hold together across every touchpoint a business has.

Where are you based, and do you work internationally?

I’m based in Nepal. Most of my clients are global. We work over video calls and shared tools. Time zones haven’t been an obstacle.

Do you work alone or with a team?

I mostly work alone. Although I have some extremely talented people that help me in projects when required, you work directly with me from brief to final delivery. No account managers, no handoffs to a junior. If you have a question, I answer it.

Can I see examples of your work?

Yes. The portfolio on this site shows selected projects with context on the brief, the thinking, and the outcome. I update it as new work comes through.

What industries do you work with?

I work across food and beverage, hospitality, e-commerce, professional services, and consumer goods. I don’t restrict by industry. What matters is whether the project has a genuine problem I can solve.

[ Brand Identity & Logo Design ]

What does a brand identity project include?

It depends on the scope agreed at the start. A full identity includes: brand strategy, logo system, colour palette, typography, visual language, and a brand guidelines document. Smaller scopes are possible if the foundation already exists.

Do you do just a logo, or the full brand system?

I do full systems. A logo without context is a graphic. A logo within a system is a brand. I’ll discuss isolated logo work on a case-by-case basis, but it’s not my default offer.

What is brand strategy and why does it come first?

Brand strategy is the thinking that shapes every design decision: who you’re for, what you stand for, how you want to be perceived, and what makes you distinct. If that foundation isn’t clear, the visual work has nothing to be anchored to. I do strategy before I open any design file.

What file formats will I receive?

Logo files in SVG, PNG, PDF, and EPS. All primary and secondary variations. Colour values in HEX, RGB, and CMYK. Typography files or licensing guidance. Everything is packaged for immediate use across print and digital.

Will I own the designs outright?

Yes. Full intellectual property transfers to you on final payment. The work is yours.

[ Packaging Design ]

What packaging design work do you do?

Primary packaging design: labels, boxes, pouches, cartons, and flexible packaging. I work from your dieline or help source the right one. I don’t manage print production, but I prepare files to print-ready standard and can liaise with your printer if needed.

Do you handle the printing?

No. I deliver print-ready files. Sourcing and managing the printer is on your side. I can advise on what to ask for and flag anything in a print quote that doesn’t look right.

Can you work from an existing brand if I only need packaging?

Yes. If you have an existing brand identity with clear guidelines, I can design packaging within that system. If the brand is loose or inconsistent, I’ll flag it early and we decide together how to handle it.

What files will I receive for packaging?

Print-ready PDF with bleeds and crop marks, layered source file (AI or PSD), and packaging mockup images for digital use. File specifications follow what your printer requires.

Do you create 3D packaging mockups?

Yes. I include presentation-quality mockup images with every packaging project. These are suitable for website, social, and pitch use.

[ Web Design & Development ]

What kind of websites do you design?

Brand-led websites for small businesses and founders. Portfolio sites, service-based business sites, landing pages, and simple product sites. I build on WordPress with Elementor. Custom development is not part of my offering.

Do you build e-commerce sites?

Simple WooCommerce setups, yes. Complex product catalogues, custom checkout flows, or third-party integrations are outside my scope. I’ll be direct about that in the discovery call if your needs go that far.

Will my website be mobile-friendly?

Yes. Every site is tested across mobile, tablet, and desktop before handoff. I check on real devices, not just browser previews.

What platform do you build on?

I use WordPress with visual builder (Elementor, Divi & Gutenberg) and Shopify. They are systems you can manage yourself after launch. I’ll walk you through the basics before we close the project.

Do you offer website maintenance after launch?

I offer a 30-day support period after launch for bug fixes and minor adjustments. Ongoing maintenance is available as a separate arrangement. We can discuss that once the project is complete.

[ Process & Timeline ]

How does the process work?

Discovery call first. If we’re a fit, I send a proposal with scope, timeline, and investment. On agreement, we start with strategy, then move to design, then refinements, then final delivery. Each phase has a clear sign-off before the next begins.

How long does a brand identity project take?

Three to six weeks for a full identity, depending on scope and how quickly feedback comes through. I’ll give you an accurate timeline in the proposal once I understand the full scope.

How long does a website project take?

Four to eight weeks. Simpler sites are faster. Sites that need content strategy, copywriting, or integration work take longer. Timeline is confirmed in the proposal.

How many revisions are included?

Two rounds of revisions per project phase. That’s enough to refine the work without scope creep. Additional rounds are available at an hourly rate if needed.

What do I need to prepare before we start?

A clear brief or a clear idea of what you need. For brand work: competitor references, brand direction thoughts, and any existing materials. For web: copy (or confirmation that copywriting is in scope), imagery, and login access to your hosting. I’ll send a detailed onboarding checklist after we agree to work together.

[ Pricing & Deliverables ]

Do you offer package deals for brand and website together?

Yes. Brand and web together is the most efficient way to work. The identity is built first, then the website is built within it. Combined projects carry a reduced rate. I’ll reflect this in the proposal.

What are your payment terms?

50% on project start, 50% on final delivery before files are released. For larger projects, I sometimes split into three payments: 40% start, 30% mid-project, 30% on completion. The proposal will spell this out.

Do you offer payment plans?

For larger projects, yes. I’m open to splitting payments into three stages instead of two. I don’t offer long-term instalment plans.

What currency do you invoice in?

NPR & USD. I accept bank transfer and Wise. Other arrangements can be discussed.

[ Working Together ]

How do I get started?

Send me a message through the contact page. Tell me what you’re building, what you need, and roughly when. I’ll get back to you within two business days to set up a discovery call.

Do you take on every project you’re approached about?

No. I take on projects where I can do the best work. That means a clear brief, a realistic timeline, and a good working relationship. I’ll tell you directly if I’m not the right fit.

How do we communicate during the project?

Email for formal sign-offs and documents. WhatsApp or Slack for day-to-day questions. Video calls at the start of each phase. I respond within one business day during the project.

What if I’m not happy with the direction?

Tell me early. If the direction isn’t right after the first presentation, we talk through what’s missing and I adjust. Design problems are almost always communication problems. If we’ve gone through both revision rounds and you’re still not satisfied, we review together what changed between brief and output and find a path forward.

Do you sign NDAs?

Yes. If your project requires an NDA, send it over before the discovery call and I’ll review it.

Can I use the designs immediately?

Yes, once final payment is received. Files are released on the same day.
